Our History

We have owned and/or bred:

• Many obedience titles including Utility Dog Excellent and Obedience Trial Champion

• Many agility titles, including numerous Masters Standard and Jumpers and Master Agility Champion titles

• Numerous breed (conformation) Champions

• We actively compete in conformation, agility, and obedience at A.K.C. licensed shows and trials.

• We have taught and continue to teach, to some extent, agility, obedience, and conformation at several local kennels and clubs.

We belong to the Golden Retriever Club of America, the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Toledo, the Toledo Kennel Club, and, in the past, Tri-County Dog Training Club, Findlay, Ohio Kennel Club. In these organizations, we have served as officers, including President of the GRCGT, President of the Toledo Kennel Club, and President of the Findlay Ohio Kennel Club.

We currently have Ch. Woodwalks Snow Bear, M.X., A.X.J., O.S. standing at stud here at Woodwalk. "Frosty" is the breed’s first Champion to earn a Masters title in agility. He is also a Golden Retriever Club of America Outstanding Sire, as was his father, Ch.. Woodwalks Aurora Borealis, O.S.

With dogs we’ve bred/owned/showed having earned well over 50 titles, we feel we’ve succeeded in combining beauty and brains in a well rounded, eager to please, easy to live with Golden. We, however, never take that for granted and are always looking for the perfect cross, whether it be with one of our own dogs or an animal from another careful, concerned breeder
